Chemistry Research Project

Good morning, y'all.

Today you picked up your folders with a copy of the two original papers you selected to research. You need to pick one paper to begin working on today. You may select the paper you have in common with another student or the one which you alone will present. After you make this decision, you need to answer the following questions regarding your paper and its author.

1. What can you infer from the title of this paper? Copy the title into your answer and tell me what you believe the title indicates.

2. Given the period of time and location in which this paper was written, what was going on "in the world" at that time?

3. You may or may not know anything about the author of this work. Investigate the scientist responsible for this paper and tell me why you believe he was chose to work on this field in science at that time in history.

If you run into any difficulty with this assignment, don't hesitate to let me know - leave a response here!

Good Morning, A& P Students.

Your first assignment is designed to make sure you can access and respond to assignments on this site.

Your first is assignment is as follows:

You are to locate one website that provides information about Leonardo da Vinci and his early work in anatomy. Cut and paste the address for that website into the response box.

Make sure that you have signed the response so that you get credit for the assignment.

Once you have finished that, you need to decide on a particular body system that you find interesting for researching. Each student will need to sign up for one system - no two students can sign up for the same system.

Your second response on the blog (yes, you have to make 2 responses) will be to tell me which body system is the one you want to work on. I'll give you further instructions as time goes by.
